We at Helló Sajtó Business Press Service publish and distribute press releases from companies and institutions, and measure how well those releases perform. Our press service operates as an OTS (original text service): we forward press releases to newsrooms without any changes.
How are business press releases distributed?
Review
Once a company or institution submits its business press release, our team reviews it and checks that it complies with our editorial guidelines.
Publication
If everything is in order, we publish the release on our press release portal, hellosajto.hu, on the day it is submitted. We also:
- file it under the appropriate categories and add the relevant tags,
- make it available to search engines,
- make it downloadable in .docx and .pdf formats, with images in their original size,
- submit it to the news feeds of MTI, Google News, Bing News, Hírstart, Hírkereső and Hírnavigátor,
- make it shareable on the major social media platforms and by email,
- measure how the press release performs on the Helló Sajtó portal by counting views, file downloads and shares.
Scheduled publication is also available: when submitting the release, our client can specify the day and hour they would like the press release to go live.
Distribution by newsletter
In our daily and weekly newsletters, we send the press release to all Hungarian online media outlets and newsletter subscribers who may be interested in it.
Our daily newsletter goes out every day at 10:00 a.m., and our weekly newsletter every Monday at 10:00 a.m.
Posting on our social media channels
We post the press release on the Helló Sajtó Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Threads pages, where our followers are notified right away and where it can be shared further.
How is performance measured?
When the release is published on the press release portal, we also start 14 days of online media monitoring for it. During this period we monitor all Hungarian news portals and online magazines, as well as the major blogs, to track where news stories, reports or announcements based on the press release have appeared.
How does the distribution process end?
We monitor the business press releases we receive for 14 days, both on the Helló Sajtó portal and through nationwide online media monitoring. After the 14 days, we stop collecting data and send the statistics to our client by email. The statistics are also available on our client portal.
